Bruno has always seen father as the man of the house, and he always gives directions to everyone else, but that had changed Bruno's perspective when he had dinner with the Fury, and noticed a distant look in fathers face when Bruno noticed the fury as taking control now in his house!
Something like this happened to me when my ad had to go to Connecticut for a meeting and my brother was at his friends house, so my dad dropped me off at my moms work and I stayed with her. I saw her go up to her boss and talk with him when she finished her work, and this reminded me of me in school. I feel like she was being serious, almost like she is trying to get a good grade! It was very fun to be at there job! Chapter 10: The Dot That Became a Speck That Became a Blob That Became a Figure That Became a Boy3/16/2016 In the chapter 10, Bruno goes out to explore. Soon enough, Bruno is getting too tired, but on the verge of quitting, he notices a speck a little bit distant from him. Knowing Bruno, he made his exploration get the best of him and got closer to the tiny speck. As he got closer and closer, that speck turned into a blog, into a figure, into a boy. Bruno then let bis mind guide him over to the boy by the fence, and curiously asked him him name. The boy responded "Im Schmuel." Bruno thought that it was a strange and unusual name to have. He was very dirty and was wearing grey striped pajamas. Im Bruno" He said back, implying for a conversation to signal back to him. Their conversation went for a while, talking about how they like exploring and their birthdays. They found out that they are the same age, and share a birthday Both boys were born on April 15, 1934. Their conversation concluded when Bruno asked the boy why there are so many people on this side of the fence, and basically no one on his side. The superstition is driving me crazy!
In chapter 9, Herr Liszt thinks geography and history are the utmost important subjects to learn about. But I think Math is most important for us to use. Math is used every single day by every single person on the globe. Math helps us calculate our homework answers, experiments, what we are charged for at the grocery store, helps us count, cooking time, tell time, and things we haven't studied yet. For Example, Math helps Bobby Flay to tell what time he needs to take his turkey out of the oven. Math is a very import subject for everyone around the world, and I wonder what ancient times did without math!
Out-With Camp September 13, 1943 Dear My Beloved Grandson Bruno, I am missing you dearly and treasure your picture up on my mantle. Just not seeing you is driving me crazy. I can not wait until I get the next chance to see you. I miss you so much! I know you feel uncomftorable in your new home, and I feel the same way with my new living schedule, not seeing you and Gretel. Last time we were together was at Christmas a very distant time ago. From Mother and Father, they discussed with me that you have not had your liking grow upon your new house. Always remember that you can make every bad situation into an incredible adventure! If you look at the bright side, your new house has a lovely garden, and those people, on the other side of the fence your father talks about so much, Im sure their wonderful people one day you will get to meet.Although, I would't worry about what is happening on the other side, just worry about your self and your new marvelous home. I can't wait to see you again soon! Maybe Next Christmas! Until then, I love you so much Bruno and never forget that. Sincerely, Grandmother Nathalie In chapter 7 Bruno was very bored, and decided to think back and do something he did back in Berlin. He decided to make a tire swing. So he ran downstairs and flung open the door to find Gretel flirting with "Lieutenant Kotler (Bruno’s father’s soldiers). Interrupting their conversation, Bruno asked if anyone has seen a spare tire laying around. Lieutenant called Pavel over, one of the men is striped pajamas, to lead Bruno to the shed and put the tire wherever Bruno desires. Pavel limped over to Bruno and lead took him to the shed. From there, Bruno took the tire and tied it up to the tree with some rope. Soon he began to swing, noticed he was going too high, and shortly flew right off into a tree. He did not know whether to faint or cry. Right away, Pavel came over and helped Bruno inside and cleaned him up. His mother was on a long trip, but came home to find Pavel and Bruno talking to each other. This was not looking good for either of them at this point. Bruno was sent to his room at once, but as walking up the stairs, he heard some disheartening words: "If the Commandment asks, I cleaned Bruno up."
In chapter 6, Bruno was talking to Maria and telling her how he thinks his new house is awful and that he hates it. Bruno gets very upset that his father "is not a good man", and gets very agitated about it, but on the other hand, Maria thinks he is a very warm hearted man who gave her a home, money and food of her own, and even paid her bills and expenses.
I think it is important to really get to know someone so you are able to understand how things work with them and the way they do stuff. I used to think someone from my dance class was really nice, until I heard from my friends that she bullies people in school. I think its because she's jealous. She doesn't have the prettiest clothes, or the best body, which I think is where she is coming from. All the girls in my class are so slim and pretty, and I think she is just around so many thin people, she probably just wants to be like them, and it eventually comes out all over her friends. This changed the way I though of her, thinking she is not very kind, but I also felt bad at the same time. At first when my parents brought up camp to me, i did not like the sound of it at all. I was going for pretty much the whole summer, and my friend only went for one week, but that really didn't matter because once I went I had so much fun and made friends the moment I went there. I still go to that same camp every year, speaking of that, I can't wait for June!
In this chapter we read about how Gretel and Bruno are missing their friends since they moved away. When the conversation between the two started to drag down was when Bruno brought up that there are no kids to play with. This made Gretel feel uncomftorable inside because she didn't see any houses either outside. Gretel then felt so curious so she looked out the window and saw no houses there. |
