THE AWAKENING
OF
SUNSHINE GIRL
By: Christina
From the second they step in the house, she notices that this house is creepier that the house back in Ridgemont. The first thing Sunshine lays her eyes on is the staircase. Sunshine says that the stairs are so wide you could have a dozen people walk up the steps standing side to side and still fit. She also happens to see that all the furniture in the living room is covered with white sheets, as if someone dressed the couches up as ghosts for halloween and never took down the costume. Sunshine struggles to find the lights, as she drags her hands in front of her to find the light switch. She actually happens to find three. Three light switches that don't work. Three light switches that are completely worthless. She happens to run into a chandelier that has fallen, still stuck to the wires attached to the ceiling, which is quite ironic to the vines outside which look identical. Aidan runs in and says to be careful. There is a generator out back that only works for upstairs. It is not strong enough to handle the entire mansion with light. "In fact it is good that the second floor has power. Because thats where you go when it is dark, at least that is where I will be. In addition, the second floor is all yours. Sunshine is impressed to hear what he had just said. Soon enough she heads upstairs. She finds the pitch black hall just waiting for Sunshine to switch the dusty hall light on. She goes through a couple bedrooms, a bathroom, and the nursery. she believed hat Aidan put her on the second floor on purpose just so she can find her nursery, to see they actually waited for beautiful baby to be born, and not to throw it away at a Texas hospital and abandon her forever. They actually cared. Sunshine picked a nice room, with Green blue and yellow tiles from the hall, just inside her room as well. The room she chose is decorated with bright colors, with a plush carpet at her feet. The carpet is very thick she thinks it would be way to hard to puncture a hole through it, and flowery wallpaper, with bright pink splashes that she thinks decades would not be long enough for that color to fade. She flops on her bed, wanting to call nolan but realize no apology would heal him. She can take back the truth. Instead, she buries her head in a dusty pillow which actually makes her sneeze.
