In this chapter, Morrie says "marriage is a test, in it, you learn who you are, who the other person is, and how you can or cannot make the relationship work." He means that marriage is a very important thing, and it is a test for how much you really love someone. On Mitch and Morrie's 10th Tuesday together, Mitch brings his wife, Janine. Morrie had been asking about her since the first day they met up. They discuss how Morrie is feeling, not sleeping enough, and needs much oxygen almost nightly now. Mitch Morrie and Janine chatted about how they all met. They laughed and shed a few tears. We hear that Janine is a professional singer and sings for Morrie. She is amazing. Morrie tries to do the least bit of dancing that he can, but not much. They talked a lot and enjoyed the time with each other. The time came where they had to depart from etcher. Morrie ended the day with the most lovely quote "Love each other or perish.
