Tuck Everlasting
By: Natalie Babbitt
If a stranger were to walk up to me, I can't imagine what would go on in my mind. I would scream for help, and try to run far away as fast as I can. To me, strangers are kind of scary. Unlike the past a long time ago, kids could walk on the streets and play games each other, but now-a-days, some parents are paranoid to let their kids out after all the stories about kidnapping and everything. I do not like going up to strangers that much, but I guess one day I will have to learn.

Smiley Town, Nj 07508 May 12th, 2016 Dear Kyra, My life so far is going great. My class came in 3rd place overall in dance. Our last class also, has come to an end. Our recital is next week. I am so excited and I know I am gonna kill it on stage. I hope you will get to see me perform my other dance besides the class both of us are in. In school, we are learning something new everyday, and it is so exciting! Today in math we were going over the lesson, and in science we finished coloring. We also took a test in Social studies, and I hope I will do ok! Please write back! Love, Christina In chapter 2 of Tuck Everlasting, Winnie Foster had a conversation with a tiny little toad stopping by her house. She was talking with the toad about running away, and definitely thought she would do it the next day, early in the morning, while everyone's still sleeping. I think that this symbolizes that Winnie is a little annoyed with her family, and wants to be alone all the time but meanwhile her family is always hunched over her back. I don't think she is wrong, wanting some space, but I think she is wrong running away. I also don't think she realizes if she does run away, she has no clue what is over her head.
Natalie Babbit was born in Dayton, Ohio On July 28, 1932. She attended Laurel School for girls in Cleveland and went to Smith College in Northhampton, Massachusetts, receiving her Bachelor of arts Degree. She married Shmuel F. Babbit who was the vice president Of Brown University. They had two sons.
She began her career as an illustrated for her husbands books. She won any awards when she began to write her own books. Her writing carries messages which are philosophical statements about "Human Ways." Whenever you see an opportunity to take money, I think you should take it. But If you are not interested in the job, or think it will get you in trouble, do not take it. Most of the time, it's a sign of your destiny that tells you you will succeed. There will be lots of opportunities to make money, but when you get older, how will you make a living if you are not fortunate, which brings in school and good grades. Some people are born into a very wealthy family, but some have to get there themselves. And its not impossible. If you dont take the chance, you never know what can come out of that. Whether it's millions or just enough for a family, it doesn't matter, money cant buy happiness.
